Whats gonna happen to the Nets?

The Brooklyn Nets had a rocky season this past year. For starters their star player, Kyrie Irving was out for most of the season, due to the fact that he wasn't vaccinated. Then in January, Kevin Durant was out with a MCL injury and missed over a month worth of games. Not only were their two star players out, they had recently acquired Ben Simmons that year in trade for James Harden. However, Ben Simmons never played because he had an injury and had surgery lined up.

Somehow the Nets were able to make it to the playoffs this season, but they got swept by the Celtics. The Celtics would go on to surprise everyone and almost win the NBA finals. The Warriors won the series 4-2.

Recently it had come out that Kyrie Irving was looking to leave Brooklyn and maybe even go and join his former partner LeBron James. Not long after Kevin Durant had requested a trade out of Brooklyn.

What's going to happen to the Nets? Brooklyn still has Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, who has played with Simmons before. They also have Blake Griffin and Patty Mills, these aren't big players, though they are still great players to help Simmons on the court. It's possible that Simmons could take the Nets all the way to the finals. Brooklyn just needs to focus and not rely on one player for everything. Same thing for Simmons, he needs to put his trust in his teammates to do some of the work.
