The New York Rangers and the Tampa Bay Lighting are tied right now in the east conference finals. Which is shocking because the past four seasons they were striving to keep their heads above water, never making it past number five in the standings in their divisions.
Going into the finals the Rangers were sitting pretty on the rankings, winning the first two games 6-2, and 3-2. Which once again took fans by surprise considering Tampa won the Stanley cup the last two years. Not to mention, Tampa also has arguably one of the best goalies in the NHL, Andrei Vasilevskiy.
When looking at the first two games the Rangers look focused, and not panicked. However, in their last two games New York looks directionless, and not knowing what to do with the puck. The rangers were frustrated to say the least, with that came the conference final fight.
The Rangers and the Lighting will face each other tonight for game five. As of now the Tampa Bays star player Brayden Point will not play due to an injury. Shouldn't be a problem for Tampa because he's been out since the second round of playoffs. The Rangers have a shot at making it to the finals, they just need to focus, and when they get frustrated they cannot throw away the puck and start shooting dumb shots.
