A few weeks ago, Luka Dončić was traded to the LA Lakers, while Anthony Davis was moved to Dallas. This trade was a shock to everyone, and it didn’t make sense why it happened in the first place.

More information has come out about the trade deal that Nico Harrison tried to complete. It was revealed that Harrison had reached out to the Minnesota Timberwolves in an attempt to acquire Anthony Edwards. Sam Amick from The Athletic reported that the deal was immediately shut down, with Minnesota’s front office unable to believe the deal was even proposed
Rumors On Why It May Have Happened.
The Athletic reported that Luka’s final days in Dallas were not portrayed in a flattering light for the 26-year-old. Which was about Lukas “taste for beer, and hookah”. Concerns were raised about his future in the NBA. And reportedly, Harrison had grown frustrated with Dončić off the court.

This trade has been a good deal for the Lakers. Since receiving Dončić they have a record of 6-2, losing to the Jazz and the Hornets. Besides those losses, which are just part of the game, this trade has been nothing short of a success for the Lakers. Luka Dončić's impact has already been felt, bringing a new level of energy and excitement to the team. On Tuesday night, when the Lakers played against the Mavs, the crowd chanted, “Thank you Nico”
