Nets decline a trade offer from Boston

Kevin Durant has expressed that his time up in Brooklyn is expired and wants to leave. Two teams have already denied him, the Dallas Mavericks, and the 76ers. Until a few days ago, it had come out that the Celtics were interested in acquiring the 6'10 power forward.

Boston was willing to trade Jaylen Brown, and Derrick White to receive Kevin Durant. The Nets declined the offer, due to the fact they wouldn't get Marcus Smart in the trade.

Shortly after the news broke Jaylen Brown tweeted out, "Smh". Impelling that he wasn't happy with being traded to the Nets.

If the Nets were to trade Kevin Durant, what would happen to the Nets? Brooklyn would suffer with the loss of Durant, considering Kyrie is playing in LA. The Nets still have Ben Simmons to put their faith in. No one knows how well Simmons plays with the Nets, because he was out all last season with a back Injury. With that being said, it could be a while till we see the Nest in the Playoffs.
