Do the Magic actually have a chance?

The NBA draft was just a few weeks ago. There were great picks, Mark Williams, who went to the Hornets, Tari Eason who went to the Rockets, and the number one pick, Paolo Banchero who is giving Magic fans hope. Then there's teams like the Knicks who traded their best player, Kemba Walker to the Pistons just to acquire an average player.

The Orlando Magic have been pretty much dead last in the standings for the past two seasons, even then the Magic just haven't been good. Anytime they make it to the playoffs, they end up getting knocked out in the first round. 2018-19, Raptors beat Magic 4-1 first round. 2019-20, Once again get beat 4-1 against the Bucks. This isn't a big surprise since they don't have much talent and they have a young team.

Fans got excited for this season because they might make it about 10 in the standings. In fact Paolo is so good that he got pulled from summer league. Jamahl Mosley, the head coach of the Orlando Magic came out saying that he wanted to give others a chance at playing.

"I want to give these other guys an opportunity to play, to kind of be able to show what they’re capable of doing,And we’ve seen what Paolo was capable of doing.”

Paolo averaged about 20 points, five assists, and six rebounds in the two games he played. One thing Magic fans need to keep in mind is that, this isn't NBA level. So in the regular season we might not see the same results that we are seeing now.
