It seems crazy that there are only six more weeks until the playoffs begin. But we have to get through week 12 first.
Starting in Cincinnati, their star QB, Joe Burrow, might return on Sunday. Burrow last played on September 14th vs Jacksonville. He left the game with a toe injury. The Bengal’s currently are 3-7. If Burrow returns, it could give fans hope for the future.
In Atlanta, their second-year QB Michael Penix has been ruled out for the rest of the season. Penix was sacked in the third quarter, and he tore his ACL in his left knee. Kirk Cousins will play the remainder of the season for the Falcons.
For the Browns, Shedeur Sanders will start in week 12, while Dillion Gabriel is still on concussion protocol. Last Sunday, Sanders came in during the second half, and it was not a pretty sight. Sanders threw 4 for 16 and got 47 yards. He threw no touchdowns but did throw an interception.
Aaron Rodgers’ status for Sunday’s game is still uncertain. When the Steelers played on Sunday against the Bengals, Rodgers left the game with a wrist injury. In the second quarter, he was sacked and fell backward, ending up with a fractured left wrist. If Rodgers does sit out for week 12, Mason Rudolph will play.
